Why are access details required?

In some instances, the creators of records and information may not be the only users of the information created and this means that access must be facilitated for departments with overlapping roles to execute their functions. Additionally, KIM is the department charged for managing the Bank’s records and information assets and as such it may become necessary for user/users from departments other than the creators to access information to facilitate operational or legal requirements placed on the Bank. In this regard, KIM seeks to understand whether this access can be determined during the records inventory process and these access requirements can be integrated into our management of the category to ensure that information access is timely.
