How is each CODED item shelved?
Answer
Each country has its own symbol, which is the first line of the call number. The countries are arranged alphabetically by symbol from Australia (AS1) to International (ZZ). Within a country or symbol designation, documents are shelved in order by the numbers and letters, which appear on subsequent lines of the call numbers.
