How do I start chatting/IM with Ask KIM?
I want to ask a quick question, and I don't feel like calling. How do I IM the Library?

Click on the button
to open the chat box. -
A chat box
will appear, asking for your name, and a brief description of your question. Click start chat to send your question to the Ask KIM Staff. (see screenshot)

After you've sent your question, an Ask KIM representative will respond, and if necessary ask you further details about your question.

The screenshot below details how to view or email a transcript, end the chat, or upload a file to the chat.

Once you close the chat, you will be asked to fill out a short survey, or if you desire, email yourself a transcript.
